7.Rotate the access door up (1) and push it down to close it (2).

8.If you want to secure the access door, tighten the security screw and slide the decorative panel forward (2).

NOTE: You must use a T-10 tamper-resistant Torx screwdriver available from HP to tighten the security screw.

9.Plug in the power cord and press the power button.

Using the USB Security Cover

1.Turn off the computer properly through the operating system, then turn off any external devices.

2.Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet.

CAUTION: Regardless of the power-on state, voltage is always present on the system board as long as the system is plugged into an active AC outlet. You must disconnect the power cord to avoid damage to the internal components of the computer.
