Setting Up the Monitor

5.Apply power to the computer and monitor, and other attached devices.

6.The Monitor Status displays:

VGA Input: Active or No Input Signal

DVI Input: Active or No Input Signal

Mode: Settings

7.Adjust the monitor as needed for your comfort using the monitor’s tilt adjustment capability.

Adjusting the Tilt

ÅWARNING: Tilt the monitor carefully. If you tilt the monitor back more than 30 degrees, beyond its

easily adjustable position, it could fall over. Position the monitor so that it cannot fall off the table if bumped.

8.Test the monitor function. If it does not function correctly, configure the monitor as described in the next chapter, “Operating the Monitor”.
