Selectable Boot Settings

This option lets you select the node from which you want to the system to boot. When enabled, this option forces the system to boot from the selected Fibre Channel hard disk, ignoring any IDE hard disks connected to the system. When disabled, the system looks for a boot device (specified in the system BIOS). When disabled, the Boot ID and Boot LUN parameters have no effect.

NOTE: This option applies only to hard disks; it does not apply to tape drives and other nondisk devices.
