The OfficeJet Pro scanning tutorial answers your questions about scanning—from the basics (“What is scanning anyway?”) to the more advanced (“How do I change resolution?”).
The Tutorial also gives you step-by-step instructions for scanning, and gives you important tips on using the HP OfficeJet Pro to its full potential.
TIP The Scanning Tutorial is designed to be used as both an introduction to scanning and a reference tool. You do not have to go through the Tutorial from start to finish; you can end it at any time.
You can run the Tutorial either from the HP OfficeJet Pro 1170C Series folder or from the 1170C Series Toolbox.
On-Line Help
On-line help is available for the OfficeJet Pro and the programs that come with it.
Caere OmniPage LE, Adobe PhotoDeluxe, and Symantec WinFax PRO
To access on-line help in Caere OmniPage LE, Adobe PhotoDeluxe, and Symantec WinFax PRO, just select an option from the Help menu while working in these programs. Symantec WinFax PRO also features an on-line tour/tutorial, which is also very helpful.
