oTHE OVEN DOOR MUST BE LEFT OPEN WHILST YOU ARE GRILLING AND THE GRILL DEFLECTOR SHOULD ALWAYS BE FITTED.

oIf the gas grill does not light within 15 seconds, then release the control knob. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST TURN THE CONTROL

KNOB BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION; OTHERWISE GAS WILL CONTINUE TO BE RELEASED.

oWait for 1 minute, before repeating the ignition procedure again.

When lighting the grill for the first time, it may take several times until the automatic ignition operates. This is due to there being air in the gas pipe.

oTo switch the gas grill off, turn the control knob fully clockwise to the gas off position (the symbol is the off position).

oIMPORTANT: You should allow the oven to cool completely before attempting to remove the grill deflector. If you attempt to remove the grill deflector before the oven is cool, the deflector will be hot.

Fitting the grill deflector

oTo fit the grill deflector, you should hang it from the relevant hooks, which are in the roof of the oven cavity.
