Safety information on outdoor unit power supply

ffPower supply cords of parts of appliances for outdoor use shall not be lighter than polychloroprene sheathed flexible cord. (Code designation IEC:60245 IEC 66 / CENELEC: H07RN-F )

-- Use cable over 2.5 mm2 (Distance : 15 m or less)

ffBefore connecting, compressed part of the terminal should face upward.

Installed back to front. Compressed part is cut. Ring terminal is detached.

ffAfter tightening, there should be no gap between a terminal and a screw.

-- If there is a gap, fire may occur due to the heat of electronic connection part.

The figure of an outdoor unit may be different depending on models.

• When connecting the cables to the outdoor unit, reversing the connection of power and communication cable

CAUTION

or connecting the earth wire incorrectly, electric leakage or product malfunction may occur.

 

Do not cut or modify the supplied cable and install it.

There is no front and back for the communication cable, so it can be switched.

Use solderless ring terminal to connect the power cable to the power terminal block. If you connect stranded or solid wires without solderless ring terminal, heat may generate from the connected part and cause fire.
