Connection Using the DP Cable

Check to make sure that the power cables for the monitor and external devices, such as computers and set-top boxes, are not connected to the power outlet.

――When connecting a DP cable, use the cable that came with the components of the monitor. If you use a DP cable other than provided by Samsung, the image quality may be degraded. A Samsung branded cable is recommended.

Connection Using the USB Type-C Cable

Check to make sure that the power cables for the monitor and external devices, such as computers and set-top boxes, are not connected to the power outlet.

The USB Type-C port can support USB Power Delivery, Data, and DP video signal.

According to the USB Power Delivery 3.0 specification, the monitor can charge your notebook or mobile phone when you connect it to the monitor with a USB Type-C cable.
