To select one of the airflow settings by pressing the “+” button to adjust to a higher speed or press the “-“ button to adjust to a lower speed. The LED display will indicate the selected speed. Low, Me- dium and High speed settings are designed for day-to-day use.

Note: Dust and allergens are most airborne when persons and pets are active in the room. For best results, set the unit on a higher speed setting during these times for high demand cleaning and circulation. Set the unit to a lower setting for quieter operation when activity is reduced.

Quick Clean Speed (PCO500 Only)

A high-speed filtration setting can be used to rapidly filter the air when airborne particle levels are high. Press the (+) on the fan speed control until the Quick Clean icon (highlighted above) is displayed. You will immediately notice a dramatic increase in airflow that will al- low the unit to provide maximum air filtration. Due to increased sound levels, use of this mode is recommended only as conditions require.

Particle Sensing Mode and Odor Sensing Mode monitors the air quality of the room to detect the presence of particles and gases/ odors. The unit will continuously monitor the amount of airborne particles and gases/odors in the environment and adjust the fan speed between Low, Medium, High and Quick Clean* as needed to maintain optimum air quality. Press the Particle Sensing Mode and/ or Odor Sensing Mode Button to engage this feature. The screen will

display the animated Particle Sensing Mode icon () and/or the

Odor Sensing Mode icon (), to indicate when this feature is active. Please note the Particle and Odor Sensing Mode is overridden when Sleep Mode is engaged to ensure the unit is providing a consis- tent, low noise level during nighttime sleep. *Quick Clean Speed on PCO500 model only.

When To Use: This feature allows the unit to reduce energy usage

PCO300, PCO500 specifications

The Vornado PCO500 and PCO300 are innovative air purification systems designed to improve indoor air quality by employing advanced technologies and efficient performance. These devices are recognized for their effectiveness in removing airborne pollutants, providing users with a cleaner and healthier living environment.

Both models utilize Vornado's unique Green Air Technology, which combines a combination of a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter and a powerful fan. This technology ensures that the air is not only filtered, but also thoroughly circulated throughout the room. The HEPA filters capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, and mold spores, making them ideal for allergy sufferers and those sensitive to airborne contaminants.

One of the standout features of the Vornado PCO500 and PCO300 is their ability to tackle not only particulate matter but also odors and harmful gases. The PCO500 utilizes advanced photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) technology, which works in conjunction with ultraviolet light to neutralize volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and unpleasant odors. This technology enhances the overall air purification process, ensuring that the air is not only clean but also fresh and pleasant to breathe.

The design of both models is modern and user-friendly, featuring intuitive controls that allow users to adjust the fan speed and monitor filter life easily. The PCO500 is particularly well-suited for larger spaces, covering up to 1,000 square feet, while the PCO300 is designed for medium-sized rooms, effectively purifying air within 500 square feet. Both models are equipped with a filter replacement indicator, ensuring that users are always aware of when to change the filters for optimal performance.

Energy efficiency is another significant characteristic of the Vornado PCO500 and PCO300. Both devices consume minimal electricity, making them an environmentally friendly choice. They operate quietly, allowing for continuous use without disruptive noise, which is especially beneficial in bedrooms or offices.

In summary, the Vornado PCO500 and PCO300 represent the culmination of advanced air purification technology. With their combination of HEPA filtration, photocatalytic oxidation, user-friendly design, and energy-efficient operation, these machines stand out as excellent options for anyone seeking to enhance the quality of their indoor air and create a healthier living space.
