MANTENIMIENTO

•Apague el aparato y desenchúfelo de la corriente antes de efectuar las operacio- nes de limpieza.

•Asegúrese que el aparato no reciba ten- sión antes de efectuar las operaciones de mantenimiento. De esta forma, se evi- tarán eventuales accidentes causados por descargas eléctricas.

•No utilice disolventes químicos (tales como benceno y alcohol) para limpiar la superficie del aparato. Esto podría rayar o estropear la superficie e incluso deformar toda la parte exterior.

•Use solamente agua con detergentes delicados o paños suaves para limpiar o secar las partes de plástico.

•Para limpiar el depósito del agua, sáquelo de su sede y vacíe el agua residual; a con- tinuación, deberá limpiarlo con un deter- gente neutro, enjuagarlo y aclararlo meti- culosamente.

•Cuando acabe estas operaciones, sitúe

de nuevo el depósito en su sede original.

FILTRO DEL AIRE

Si el filtro del aire está bloqueado por la sucie- dad o por el polvo, el volumen del flujo del aire se reduce con la consiguiente reducción de las prestaciones y funcionamientos incor- rectos del aparato. Limpie el filtro del aire y / o lávelo por lo menos cada dos semanas.

1.Abra la rejilla portafiltro del aire tirando de ella hacia el exterior.

2.Extraiga el filtro de la rejilla portafiltro.

3.Lave el filtro del aire, sumergiéndolo de forma delicada en agua templada (a no más de 40°C) (104°F), con un detergente neutro, enjuague el filtro y déjelo secar completamente a la sombra.

4.Monte de nuevo el filtro seco en la rejilla portafiltro, fijándolo con los pernos de enganche en la superficie interna de la rejilla.

5.Monte de nuevo la rejilla portafiltro en el aparato en su posición original.

AL FINAL DE TEMPORADA

1.Apague el aparato y desenchufe la cla- vija de la corriente.

2.Solamente para modelos que cuentan con un tubo de descarga en continuo de la con- densación, antes de quitar el agua de dre- naje del depósito, extraiga el tapón del tubo pequeño de plástico, para que el agua con- tenida en el tubo del depósito fluya; a conti- nuación, encienda el aparato en modo ven- tilación durante media jornada hasta que se seque el interior del aparato.

3.Vacíe el depósito del agua de condensa- ción, límpielo y séquelo.

4.Enrolle el cable de alimentación alrede- dor del enrollacable correspondiente, tape el aparato con una cobertura o una bolsa y guárdelo en un lugar seco.
