Troubleshooting Minor Faults

SHOCK!

Repairs must only be carried out by our Customer Service or an authorized technician.

If repairs are needed, and assuming that you cannot eliminate the fault yourself with the aid of the following table:

￿Turn the program selectorOffto.

￿Disconnect the washing machine from the mains.

￿Turn off the water tap.

￿Call Customer Service (refer to page 23).

Water tap not turned on.	Turn	on	water	tap.
Supply hose kinked or trapped.	Eliminate		the cause.
Strainer in supply hose clogged.	Clean	the	strainer (refer￿to￿page￿22).

Water	cannot	be seen in drumThis. is not a	fault.
		The water lies	below the visible part of the drum.
Water	is not	completely drainedLoose. debris is	blocking the pump.	Clean the pump (refer￿to￿page￿20).

Water is flowing out from underneath the machine.
