The filter CANNOT be washed as it wilt

Check primary filter frequently and clean when dirty.
TO REMOVE PRIMARY FILTER:
Remove the dust bin and dust bin lid
assembly as outlined in the DUST BIN CLEANING section.
Replace the dust bin as outined in the DUST BIN CLEANING section°
EXHAUST FILTER
HEPA
The exhaust filter cartridge must be replaced when dirty. It should be replaced regularly depending on use conditions. The filter CANNOT be washed as it will lose its dust trapping ability.

Replace the exhaust filter cartridge, carefully posi- tioning it so that it fits into the motor cover, The grey edge of the filter should be facing away from the operator. Push only on fil- ter cartridge frame, not on filter itself.
Replace the exhaust filter cover by placing tabs in slots and pushing in until cover snaps into place°
