Operation

Fill solution tank

￿Warning

Risk of damage. Only use the recom- mended detergents. With respect to dif- ferent detergents the operator bears the increased risk regarding the operational safety, accident risk and reduced prod- uct life of the appliance. Only use deter- gents that are free from solvents, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid.

Note

Do not use highly foaming detergents. Observe the chemical measuring notes. Recommended detergents:

ÎRemove the solution tank from the appliance.

ÎOpen the cover of the solution tank.

ÎPour in water/detergent mixture. Maximum temperature of the liquid 50 °C.

ÎClose the cover of the solution tank.

ÎInsert the solution tank into the appli- ance.

Establish mains contact

ÎSwivel bottom cable hook upward and remove cable.

ÎCheck mains cable and plug for damage or breakage. Get them re-

placed only through customer ser- vice agent or an electrician.

ÎInsert the plug into the socket.

Cleaning

￿Warning!

Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do not operate the appliance for extended period on the spot.

Normal soiling

ÎMove the squeegee lift pedal to posi- tion „suction off“ (Fig. 3 - position "1/ ON", see inside front cover).

ÎPress the park position release and swivel the handle toward the rear.

ÎSet main switch for brush/vacuum operation to “1”.

ÎActivate the water pump switch.

ÎMove the appliance over the surface to be cleaned.

Severe soiling

￿Warning

Risk of damage to the floor covering. The cleaning method for severe soiling must only be used on floors suitable for this kind of cleaning.

ÎMove the vacuum bar lift pedal to po- sition „do not suction off“ (Fig. 3 - po- sition "0/OFF" see inside front cover) and perform the cleaning as you would with normal soiling. The deter- gent liquid remains on the surface to be cleaned and has time to settle in.

ÎMove the squeegee lift pedal to posi- tion "suction off" and reclean the sur- face.

Complete cleaning

ÎTurn off the water pump switch.

ÎPush the appliance a little further to vacuum up the remaining water.
