Securing Door

for Spring Winding

Tools Needed:

Place vice clamps onto both vertical

 

Vice Clamps

tracks just above the third roller. This is

 

to prevent the garage door from raising

 

while winding the counterbalance

 

springs.

WARNING

Failure to place vice clamps onto vertical Tracks can allow door to raise and cause severe or fatal injury.

Cable Adjustment

 

 

 

Tools Needed:

Check to ensure the cable is aligned

Vice Grips

and seated in the first and second

 

groove of the cable drum. Snug the set

Pliers/Wire

screw, and then tighten an additional

1-1/2 turns.

IMPORTANT: ENSURE THE CABLE IS

ALIGNED AND SEATED IN THE FIRST
