Code and Tune Settings

Code Settings

Note: Most installations will not require you to change any jumpers on your chime and push button.

The push button and chime communicate by using a code that can be changed by removing and/or adding jumpers on both the push button and chime. The code is factory set; however, there are 128 selectable codes that allow you to expand your system and prevent outside interference. Other wireless prod- ucts may cause interference and the system may not function properly. Fol- low the instructions below for setting a new code.

1.Open the cases and locate the jumpers on both the push button and chime (See illustration on page 4).

2.The push button and chime both have eight different jumper locations. The jumper positions 1 through 7 are used for setting the code.

3.To change the code, add and/or remove jumpers as needed. It is recom- mended to only change one jumper at a time and then check to see if system is functioning properly. Note: Jumpers in positions 1 through 7 must be exactly the same for both the push button and chime for this system to function.

6180, 6280 specifications

Heath Zenith is a well-known brand in the realm of outdoor lighting and home security, and their models 6280 and 6180 exemplify the brand's commitment to quality, innovation, and style. These two products are designed to enhance security while providing aesthetically pleasing illumination to outdoor spaces.

The Heath Zenith 6280 is a motion-sensing security light that boasts cutting-edge features ideal for residential settings. One of its primary characteristics is the 180-degree detection range, which ensures a broad coverage area. This model is equipped with a powerful 250-watt halogen bulb, providing bright and effective lighting for dark areas. The adjustable sensitivity and timing settings allow homeowners to customize the functionality according to their preferences. Users can set the light to turn on when it detects movement, adding an extra layer of security to their property.

In contrast, the Heath Zenith 6180 adopts a similar approach but emphasizes energy efficiency. This model utilizes LED technology, which means it consumes significantly less energy compared to traditional bulbs. The 6180 offers a longer lifespan and requires less frequent replacements, making it both cost-effective and eco-friendly. It features a sleek design that integrates seamlessly into any outdoor décor while providing powerful illumination.

Both models are equipped with weather-resistant housing, ensuring durability against the elements. The construction can withstand harsh weather conditions, making these lights a reliable choice for various climates. Additionally, both models come with adjustable heads, allowing users to direct light where it is needed most—whether that's illuminating a pathway or illuminating entry points to a home.

In summary, the Heath Zenith 6280 and 6180 embody modern advancements in outdoor lighting technologies. With features such as motion sensing, adjustable settings, and durable construction, they offer security and peace of mind to homeowners. While the 6280 is ideal for those seeking bright halogen lighting, the 6180 appeals to environmentally conscious consumers who prefer energy-efficient solutions. Together, these models broaden the options available for illuminating and securing outdoor spaces effectively.
