OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

DIRECTIVES D’USAGE

Extension Tube

For hard to reach places. Use with crevice tool or with dusting brush.

Crevice Tool

For radiators, crevices, corners, baseboards and between cushions.

Dusting Brush

The dusting brush is used for the furniture, venetian blinds, books, lamp shades and shelves.

Intelli-SenseTMFilter Monitor

When the Intelli-SenseTMFilter Monitor lights up, it means that the dust cup is full or the HEPA filter, filter ring or Debris Screen needs cleaning. You must empty the dust from the dust cup and clean the HEPA filter and Debris Screen right away.

Brush Roll Warning Light

If while using the motorized floor brush the brush becomes jammed or picks up an object which causes the brush roll to cease revolving, the red indicator light will illuminate. In this case:

1.Turn unit “Off” and unplug from wall outlet.

2.Remove the motorized floor brush from the main unit.

3.Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver and remove the two (2) front screws from the bottom of the motorized floor brush. (Fig. 9) Screws

4. Remove the brush cover. (Fig. 10)

5.To gently remove the object, hair or fibers pull slowly to release. Removing with scissors may be necessary, however, avoid damaging or cutting the bristles.

Emptying the Dust Cup Container Important: Do NOT use the vacuum without ALL the filters in place.

Warning: Always unplug the unit from electrical outlet before opening the Dust Cup (container).

1.To remove the dust cup container, turn the dust cup release lever to the right. (Fig. 11)

2.Remove the dust cup from the vacuum. (Fig. 12)

3.To empty the dust cup container, hold the dust cup from the handle over a garbage container and press on the trap

ENROULEMENT ET DÉROULEMENT DU CORDON

Cet aspirateur est doté d’un mécanisme pratique de rangement du cordon. Le cordon s’enroule sur deux crochets derrière l’aspirateur. Le crochet du haut est doté d’un dispositif de relâche rapide. Tournez le crochet vers la gauche ou la droite pour retirer le cordon

(Fig. 4).

En utilisant l’aspirateur,

fixez le cordon au porte- Fig. 4 cordon afin qu’il ne vous

nuise pas. (Fig. 5)

COMMUTATEUR

Le commutateur est à trois réglages (Fig.6).

Appuyez sur le côté « I » pour mettre l’aspirateur en marche. Ce réglage convient lors de l’usage de la poignée amovible avec accessoires ou lorsque vous nettoyez un plancher nu.

Appuyez sur le côté « II » pour mettre en marche la brosse motorisée.

Appuyez sur le côté « O » pour éteindre l’aspirateur.

USAGE DE L’ASPIRATEUR avec la brosse motorisée

Déroulez le cordon et branchez-le dans une prise à 120 V.

Mettez le commutateur en position « II » afin que l’aspirateur et la brosse motorisée soient tous deux en marche

REMARQUE: En nettoyant

Abaissez

les tapis épais ou

 

planchers en bois franc,

 

inclinez l’angle du manche

 

(voir l’illustration à droite)

 

pour pouvoir manœuvrer

 

l’aspirateur plus facilement.

USAGE DE L’ASPIRATEUR AVEC ACCESSOIRES

Retirez le manche amovible du connecteur du boyau.

Insérez le tube de rallonge, suceur plat ou brosse à épousseter sur l’extrémité du boyau (Fig. 8).

COMMANDE MANUELLE DE SUCCION VARIABLE

Votre aspirateur est doté d’une soupape de commande manuelle de succion variable sur la rallonge du boyau. La puissance de succion peut être réglée en faisant glisser la glissière dans la position désirée. Par exemple, les meubles et tentures exigent moins de succion que les tapis épais qui
