ASSEMBLY

•Remove the Handle from the box.

•Place the heater on a firm, level floor.

•Line up the prongs on the bottom of the handle with the openings on the top of the heater and firmly push down (Fig. 1). The handle is now permanently fastened to the top cover.

•To select the desired heating mode, slide the Direction Control

switch, located on the top of the heater, to the position of your choice (Fig. 2):

–to the left (full circle) for 360° Heating

–to the right (half circle) for Forward Only Heating (One Direction Heating)

OPERATION

• Select the appropriate heat dispersion mode (See Set-Up).

•With the Power knob in the OFF (O) position, plug the heater into

a polarized 120V outlet.

•Turn the Thermostat control fully clockwise to the HIGH setting.

•This heater is equipped with three different heat settings. The

Low setting (I) uses 600 watts of power, the Medium setting (II) uses 900 watts of power and the High setting (III) uses 1500

watts of power. You can select the proper setting to accommodate your comfort level. Because the Low and Medium

heat settings do not require as much electricity to operate, they

are more energy efficient and may be better options if you are concerned about the amperage draw on a circuit when the heater is in the High setting.

•Turn the heater on using the Child Resistant switch (Power knob). To operate the switch, push down the two sides of the Power knob while turning it clockwise to the desired position (Fig. 3). The power light will illuminate. The Child Resistant switch helps to keep the heater from being turned on unintentionally.

•When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat control counter- clockwise until the heater goes off. This is the point at which the Thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting, the Thermostat will automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain this selected temperature.

•Push down and turn the Power knob to OFF and unplug the heater when you are finished using it.
