How to Clear Blockages in Hose

Caution: Make sure On/Off switch is in Off (o) position and power supply cord is unplugged before servicing.

1)Firmly pull the end of the hose from the hose retainer on the back of the vacuum.

2)Check for blockages in the hose and hose retainer. Flexing the hose may help loosen any blockage. If no blockage is found, continue to step 4. If blockage is found, clear the blockage and replace the hose in the hose retainer. If the blockage is in the hose retainer and cannot be cleared, continue to step 3.

3)Remove the hood from the cleaner (see page 24) and check for a blockage in the brushroll area. Make sure the hose inlet is clear. If there is a blockage in the hose inlet, press the handle release to lay the hood flat on the ground. Use a round, dull, long object to push the clog out from the hose inlet. If no blockage is found, continue to step 4. After the blockage is found and cleared, replace the hood on the cleaner.

1) Tire firmemente el extremo de la manguera para separarlo del sujetador en el lado trasero de la aspiradora.

2) Verifique si hay obstrucciones en la manguera o el retenedor. Doblar la manguera puede ayudar a aflojar cualquier obstrucción. Si no hay obstrucciones, continúe con el paso

4.Si encuentra alguna obstrucción, elímínela y sustituya la manguera en el retenendor. Si la obstrucción se localiza en el retenedor de la manguera y no puede despejarla, continúe en el paso 3.

3)Retire la capucha del limpiador (vea la página 24) y verifique si hay bloqueo en el área

del cepillo giratorio. Compruebe que la entrada de la manguera esté despejada. Si está bolqueada la entrada de la manguera, pise el pedal de desacoplamiento del mango para recostar la capucha en el piso. Utilice un objeto largo, de punta redonda, para empujar la obstrucción fuera de la entrada de

la manguera. Si no hay bloqueos, continúe con el paso 4. Despues de haber localizado y despejado el bloqueo, sustituya la capucha del limpiador.

Mise en garde : Assurez- vous que l’interrupteur On/Off est en position OFF (o) et que le cordon est débranché avant d’effectuer l’entretien.

1)Tirez solidement l’extrémité du tuyau de la fixation à l’arrière de l’aspirateur.

2)Vérifiez qu’il n’y a pas de blocages dans le tuyau et la fixation. La flexion du tuyau pourrait aider

àlibérer les blocages. Si vous ne trouvez pas de blocage, passez à l’étape 4. Si vous trouvez un blocage, dégagez-le et replacez le tuyau dans la fixation. Si le blocage est dans la fixation et ne peut être dégagé, passez à l’étape 3.

3)Enlevez le capot de l’aspirateur (voir page 24) et vérifiez pour un blocage quelconque dans la zone du cylindre brosseur. Assurez-vous que l’entrée du tuyau est libre. S’il y a une obstruction dans l’entrée du tuyau, appuyez sur le bouton de dégagement pour déposer le capot

àplat sur le sol.

Utilisez un objet rond et long pour pousser l’obstruction à l’extérieur de l’entrée du tuyau.

Si vous ne trouvez pas d’obstruction, passez

àl’étape 4. Une fois l’obstruction trouvée et dégagée, replacez le capot sur l’aspirateur.
