Installing the battery and case construction

The ATH-ANC9 requires one AAA battery for operation (included). Use disposable AAA alkaline batteries or rechargeable AAA batteries.

1.Move headphone power switch to the OFF position.

2.Squeeze the small and large tabs at the bottom of the right earcup while pulling out the battery compartment.

3.Insert one AAA alkaline battery or AAA rechargeable battery, observing correct polarity as marked.

4.Push the battery compartment back into the earcup. To shut the battery compartment, push the short portion of the door in until you hear a click.

Note: To remove the battery, use the point of a 3.5 mm plug on the headphones’ cable to push the battery through the hole in the back of the battery compartment.
