Deleting a song form the play list

You can delete a song from the play list. The following description assumes that some songs are set to the play list and the Home screen of the PROGRAM PLAY mode is shown.

1)Press the [SHIFT] key to turn on the Shift mode, and press the [PLAY MODE/ PROGRAM SET ] key.

The display shows the play list screen on which some songs are set.

2)Use the [MENU] dial to move the cursor to the song you want to delete, and press the [CLEAR/+10] key.

The example below shows how the screen changes when track 05 which is set to pro- gram number (PN) 03 is deleted. You can see that track 02 which is set after the de- leted track moves up.

3)Move the cursor to "<SAVE>" and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The edited play list is saved and reflected to the Home screen of the PROGRAM PLAY mode. You can see that track 05 on program number 03 has been deleted in the screen example below.

Deleting all songs in the play list

You can delete a song from the play list. The following description assumes that some songs are set to the play list and the Home screen of the PROGRAM PLAY mode is shown.

1)Press the [SHIFT] key to turn on the Shift mode, and press the [PLAY MODE/ PROGRAM SET ] key.

The display shows the play list screen on which some songs are set.

2)Use the [MENU] dial to move the cursor to "<ALL CLEAR>", and press the [CLEAR/ +10] key.

All songs in the play list are deleted and the display changes to shown the play list screen with no entry, as shown below.

3)Move the cursor to "<SAVE>" and press the [ENTER/YES] key.

The display changes to show the Home screen of the PROGRAM PLAY mode. You can see that the play list now has no entry as shown in the screen example below.

<Note>: After you edit the play list, do not for- get to execute the save operation (select "<SAVE>" and press the [ENTER/YES] key). If you exit the "PROGRAM SET" menu without execut- ing the save operation, editing is not reflected to the play list.
