Hints and tips for automatic cooking

1Check the instructions for setting the automatic controls until you are familiar with the timer operation.

2If the oven has been used, allow it to cool completely before using for automatic cooking.

3You should leave food in the oven for as short a time as possible before automatic cooking starts.

4Do not leave food to stand in the oven when it has finished cooking. You should remove it and if it is not going to be eaten at once, cool it quickly.

5If you cannot remove food from the oven as soon as it is cooked make sure that the food is covered.

6Choose perishable foods carefully, especially during warm weather.

7Food should be fresh and preferably straight from the refrigerator.

8Joints of meat and poultry must be completely thawed.

9Dishes containing left over cooked meat or poultry should not be cooked automatically if there is a delay period.

10Choose dishes which require approximately the same cooking time. Slight variations may be allowed by:-

i)placing foods in larger or smaller containers

ii)using more or less liquid

iii)cutting fruit or vegetables into larger or smaller pieces.

This will give longer or shorter cooking times respectively. Further temperature adjustments can be made by placing the foods higher or lower in the oven as the top of the oven is hotter than the bottom.

11Arrange shelf positions to suit dishes and choose dishes which will fit into the oven together.

12As food may be standing for some time in the oven, cover dishes with foil or a lid where possible, and in the case of roast potatoes and joints of meat, brush with a little fat or oil. Lemon juice may be added to fruit to prevent browning.

13Cream should be added just before serving.

14If alcohol is used fermentation can occur.

15Green leaf vegetables which take only a short time to cook, should not be placed into the oven with the automatic meal. It is far better to cook them in a pan on the hotplate whilst dishing up the rest of the meal.

The Electrolux CSIG 511 is a modern, sleek steam generator iron designed to make the task of ironing more efficient and comfortable. This appliance combines powerful steam technology with user-friendly features, ensuring that every crease is smoothed out with ease.

One of the standout features of the CSIG 511 is its impressive steam output. With a continuous steam production of up to 130 g/min, it delivers a strong burst of steam that penetrates fabrics deep, making it particularly effective for tackling stubborn wrinkles on various materials, including cotton and linen. This high steam output is complemented by a steam boost function, which can generate an even more concentrated burst of steam at 480 g, ideal for vertical steaming of hanging garments or delicate fabrics.

The CSIG 511 also boasts a large water tank capacity of 1.5 liters, allowing for extended ironing sessions without the need for frequent refills. The tank is detachable, making it convenient to fill up under the tap. Additionally, the appliance features a built-in anti-calc system that helps combat limescale buildup, ensuring longevity and performance over time.

User comfort is a priority in the design of the Electrolux CSIG 511. It features an ergonomic handle that is comfortable to grip for prolonged use, and the iron itself is lightweight, reducing fatigue during lengthy ironing tasks. The 2.5-meter power cord provides flexibility and ease of movement, allowing users to freely navigate around the ironing area.

The soleplate is designed with a durable non-stick coating that glides smoothly over fabrics, preventing snagging while enhancing heat distribution for optimal results. The pointed tip of the soleplate aids in reaching difficult areas such as collars and seams with precision.

Safety features have also been thoughtfully incorporated into the CSIG 511. It includes an automatic shut-off function that activates when the appliance is left unattended for a designated period, reducing fire risks and providing peace of mind.

In summary, the Electrolux CSIG 511 steam generator iron is a powerful and efficient appliance that combines cutting-edge technology with user-friendly design.
