Place large container under both pouring spouts.

Turn the operating dial to the espresso setting and allow water to run through.

Select appropriate filter and place into handle.

Hold filter handle and purge with water to preheat.

Place finely ground coffee into filter.

Tamp the coffee grinds.

Wipe the edge of filter to remove any coffee grinds.
