3.Turn the set button (5) to the required heat setting
4.After approx. 5 minutes, the red indicator light switches off and the green indicator indicator lights
(4) comes on. This means the appliance is ready to use.
5.Open the lid, add a portion of waffle mix to the hotplate on the base and close the lid.
o Be careful not to add too much waffle mix; the mix must not spill over the edge of the hot plate.
6.The green indicator light switches off, the red indicator light comes on and the waffles are being cooked.
7.When the red indicator light switches off and the green indicator light comes on, the waffles are ready. Open the lid and remove the cooked waffles with a wooden or plastic spatula. Never use metal utensils as they may scratch the
8.Remove the plug from the socket once you have finished using the appliance.
Caution! You may experience a small amount of smoke or odour the first few times the appliance is used.
This is due to excess material from the manufacturing process being burnt off. This is completely normal, and the smoke/smell will soon disappear.
STORAGE
•Ensure that the appliance is clean, dry and completely cool before storing it.
•Store the appliance in a clean and dry place, for instance in its box.
•Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
•The cord must not be twisted or wound around the appliance.
CLEANING
•Remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
•The appliance, cord or plug must not be placed in water or any other liquid.
•Clean the appliance by wiping it with a damp cloth.
A little detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
•Never use a scouring pad or any form of strong solvent or abrasive cleaning agent to clean the appliance, as those may damage the inside and outside surfaces of the appliance.
•Ensure that the appliance is completely dry before storing it.
