FOR STEAMING
Steam cooking
Cooking food through steaming is a healthy and quick way to cook a wide variety of foods. Whether in preparation for baby food, for diet reasons or for pure flavor, steam cooking prepares food at a very high heat and can overcook quickly.
You may steam up to 1.3 Qts. of food ( about 5 cups) at a time. Steaming times are estimates and depend on the quantity, size and temperature of food. Consider all the cook times given in the Egg Cooking & Food Steaming Chart as suggestions.
