Annex: PC data configurations

Windows 98 GPRS set-up

Warning!: your PC must have the Dial-up Networking and the TCP/IP protocol installed within the network components. You can check this in ‘Start->Settings->Control Panel’ and double clicking on ‘Network’. If not, these components have to be previously added from your Windows installation disk.

To configure your GPRS connection under Windows

98 in your PC, follow steps 1 to 9:

1)Go to ‘My Computer’ and double-click ‘Dial-Up Networking’.

2)Double-click on ‘Make New Connection’ so that the wizard starts. Type a name for the connection and select the installed analog modem from your computer, then click on ‘Next’.

3)In the ‘Telephone number:’ field enter: *98#, then click ‘Next’.
