Filling water and coffee capsules

The appliance should be cleaned before filling it with water and coffee capsules (see "Cleaning and care").

Be sure to set the water hardness (see "Settings - Water hardness").

Filling the water tank

The water tank should be washed and filled with fresh cold tap water before each day of use.

,Never put hot water or any other liquid except cold water into the water tank. Do not use mineral water in the appliance. It causes heavy lime build-up and will damage the appliance.

^ Open the appliance door.

^Lift the water tank a and pull it out b.

^Fill the container with fresh, cold tap water to the "Max." mark.

A valve at the tank front prevents leaks.

^Push the water tank back into the machine.
