Removing a jammed capsule

What if F 76 appears in the display?

The coffee capsule was not pushed correctly onto the capsule plate and is possibly damaged.

^Open the appliance door.

Turn off the appliance with the main switch.

^Remove the carousel tray and the capsule plate from the machine.

^On the right side of the capsule plate is an opening. Check if a coffee capsule has jammed there or further up in the brew unit.

^Use a wooden spoon handle (only) to push the capsule into the waster container.

^Turn the appliance back on with the main switch.

^Close the door and follow the instructions in the display.

No coffee capsule is seen on the capsule plate, because it is stuck in the brew unit.

^Open the appliance door.

Turn off the appliance with the main switch.

^Remove the carousel tray, capsule plate and capsule plate from the machine.

^Check to see if a capsule is lodged in the top of the brew unit.

^Use a wooden spoon handle (only) to dislodge the coffee capsule.

^Return the capsule plate, carousel tray and capsule carousel to the machine.

^Turn the appliance on with the main switch.

^Close the appliance door and follow the instructions in the display.

If the fault still appears in the display or the damaged capsule could not be removed easily, contact Technical Ser- vice.
