ADAPTIVE VIBRATION CONTROL

Your GE washer is equipped with Adaptiive Vibration Control Technology. Using information about the floor, this system can reduce vibration and improve spin performance in some installations by adapting the spin cycle. The DEFAULT configuration is specially designed to provide optimal performance across the widest range of floor types. Follow the procedure below to enable more specific adaptive settings. Your washer can be returned quickly and easily to the DEFAULT configuration at any time using the same procedure.

Floor Type Selection

1.With the unit powered off, press and hold EXTRA RINSE and SPIN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

2.Rotate the cycle knob and select FL1, FL2, FL3, or FL4. Press the START button to make the selection. See the table below for suggested installations.

**The default setting is acceptable for most installations.

3.Rotate the cycle knob and select PE1 or PE2 for pedestal. Press the START button to make the selection PE1 is YES and PE2 is NO.
