Fastening the cooktop to the bench (CE604 models)

1Turn the cooktop upside down and place it on a soft surface.

2Spread the seal around the edges of the cooktop with the adhesive side facing down, making sure that the whole perimeter is sealed but the ends do not overlap. Cut off any excess material.

3Place the cooktop into the cutout and position it correctly.

4Adjust the clamps according to the benchtop thickness (see Fig.5), then tighten the fixing screws until the cooktop is firmly secured.

5Using a sharp cutter or trimmer knife, trim the excess sealing material around the edge of the cooktop. Take care not to damage the benchtop.

Note: if your bench is thicker than 40 mm, recess the underside to 30 or 40 mm.
