Removing and Replacing the Oven Racks

CAUTION

yy Replace the oven rack before turning the oven on to prevent burns.

yy When removing the oven racks, grab at the handles and pull out. Always wear oven mitts to prevent burns.

yy DO NOT cover the rack with aluminum foil, or any other material, or place anything on the bottom of the oven. Doing so will result in poor baking and may damage the oven bottom.

yy Only arrange oven racks when the oven is cool.

To Remove Racks

1While wearing oven mitts, grasp the oven rack.

2Pull the rack straight out until it stops.

3Lift up the front of the rack.

4Pull out the rack.

*You can also adjust the racks position before using the oven.

To Replace Racks

1While wearing oven mitts, place the end of the rack on the support.

2Tilt the front end of the rack up.

3Push the rack in.

4Check that the rack is properly in place.
