Interior Light
The interior light is located at the left and right in the refrigerator compartment (Figure 20). It turns on if the refrigerator door is opened.
Furthermore a lightbar is integrated in the bottom of the refrigerator door. This turns on if the freezer door is opened to illuminate the freezer compart- ment.
The interior light emits class 1M laser radiation. DO NOT look directly at light or through any optical instruments when the light cover is removed. Severe eye injury can occur.
The light turns off automatically if one of the doors has been opened for approximately 15 minutes. The audible alarm sounds at the same time.
If one light is not lit, it is defective.
The interior light may only be replaced by the customer service technician or by competent skilled personnel!
Do not try to change the defective lighting yourself!

Freezing
Fresh food should be frozen completely and as rap- idly as possible. This is provided by the Superfrost feature and ensures that the nutritional value, appearance and flavor of the food remains intact.
Information System - Figure 21
Use frozen food within the recommended period. The numbers between the symbols indicate the storage period in months for different kinds of frozen foods. Storage times given are guidelines for food frozen at home. Whether or not the lower or upper value is applicable depends on the food quality and how it was processed prior to freezing. The lower values always apply to food with a high fat content.
