Utilice los tres anclajes de expansión para hormigón de 10 x 95,25 mm, los seis tornillos de madera del #12 x 63,5 mm y las seis arande- las planas del #12 que se incluyen. Compruebe que los torni-llos queden bien apretados. Observe la siguiente ilustración.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: Si los tornillos de madera no tocan el montante de ninguno de los agujeros superiores del soporte anti-vuelco, utilice en su lugar el tornillo de madera del

#8–18 x 31,75 mm, las arandelas planas del #12 y el anclaje para pared de nailon que se proporcionan.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: En algunas instalaciones, es posible que el acabado del necesite montar inclinados los tornillos de madera utilizados para sujetar el soporte anti-vuelco a la pared trasera. Observe la siguiente ilustración.

Compruebe que no hay cables eléctricos ni tuberías en el área en la que se van a introducir los tornillos.

I N S TA L A R A N C L A J E S D E E X P A N S I Ó N P A R A H O R M I G Ó N

1)Haga un agujero de 10 mm de diámetro con una profundidad superior al incrustado mínimo. Limpie el agujero o continúe taladrando para hacer el agujero más profundo y que quepan los residuos en él. Utilice una broca de carburo.

2)Coloque la arandela y la tuerca al nivel del extremo del anclaje para proteger las roscas. Inserte el anclaje en el material en el que debe atornillarse hasta que la arandela quede nivelada con el material de la superficie.

3)Extienda el anclaje utilizando para ello una llave que sirva para apretar la tuerca 3–5 vueltas más de su posición lograda con el apriete manual o hasta 25 libras de torsión.

Lleve siempre gafas de seguridad y utilice cualquier otro dispositivo o ropa de protec- ción que sea necesario cuando esté insta- lando o trabajando con anclajes.

Se recomienda no utilizar los anclajes en material de mampostería poco pesado, por ejemplo, bloques o ladrillos, ni utilizarlo en hormigón fresco que no se haya secado el tiempo suficiente. No se recomienda utilizar brocas huecas para hacer agujeros para los anclajes.
