Removing the cooktop

1.Remove surface burner grates.

2.Lift front of cooktop enough to clear front of range. Grasp cool burner openings. Lift and pull forward.

Personal Injury Hazard

Do not try to clean under the woktop without removing the cooktop first.

Failure to do so could result in per- sonal injury from the mop acciden- tally falling.

Product Damage Hazard Do not drop the cooktop.

Damage could result to the porcelain and the cooktop frame.

3.Wipe with warm, soapy water. Use a

z steel-wool pad on heavily soiled

NOTE: When cleaning under the cc&top on standing pilot models, be careful not to extinguish pilots.

4.To replace cooktop, lower front of cooktop while placing into rear support brackets. Avoid hitting the control panel.

5.Replace burner grates.
