About the QUICK DEFROST Cycle

Standlng Time and Cooklng Automatically After Defrosling

For best results, allow the food to stand for a while after defrostlng. Thls helps equalize the temperature of the food to provlde more even defrostlng.

When Cook 1Is setto follow QUICK DEFRCXT,theoven automatlcally provldes a standing tlme equal to the time touched In for QUICK DEFRPSTCook. 1will begin after the automatic standlng tlme. There Is no standlng tlme between QUICK DEFROSTand KEEPWARM.

For cooking automatloally atter detrostlng:

1.Touch QUICK DEFROSTand deslred time.

2.Touch CCCK 1.

3.Touch Number Pads for deslred caoklng tlme.

4.Touch COOK POWER.(If you want to cook at HIGH Cook Power, skip to step 6.)

5.Touch a Number Pad for deslred Cook Power.

6.Touch START.

When defrostttme ends, the oven automatically lets the food stand for the same amount of time used for defmstlng. The QUICK DEFROSTlndlcator Llght stays on and the Dlsplay counts down the standlng tlme. During the standlng tlme countdown, the oven will be dark and the fan will be off. When standing tlme Is over, you will hear 2 Deeps and Cook1 will begln. When Cook1 ends, “End”will show on the Dlsplay and 4 beeps will sound.

Changing or Addlng Defrost Time

You can change the defrosttng time any tlme before or after touching START.

lTouch QUICK DEFROST.

lTouch Number Pads for new time.

. Touch START.

Any new time sefflng made while QUICK DEFROSTIs operattng will continue the detrostlng at only 20% of tull power.

The best tlme to change the setting Is near the end of the QUICK DEFROSTCycle.

l Open the door.

l Check the food wlth long-tlned fork; If center area Is hard frozen, set additlonal time. Remember that standlng time Is necessary to complete detrostlng.

Close the door and touch STARTto continue the cycle If no addltlonal time is needed. OR...

Touch In new Instructions for additional defrosting time.
