General information
If your electric power line or outlet voltage is less than normal 120 volts, cooklng times may be longer.
To test a dlsh for safe use, put it Into the oven with a cup of water beslde It. Cook on HIGH Cook Power for one minute. If the dish gets hot and water stays cool, do not use It. Some dishes (melamine, Centura,@ etc.] absorb microwave energy, becoming too hot to handle and slowlng cooklng times.

l. Before calling for assistance...
Performance problems often result from little things you can flnd and fix yourself without tools of any klnd.
If nothlng operates:
l Is the oven correctly wired into a live circuit with the proper voltage? See the Installation Instructlons.
l Have you checked your home’s main fuses or circuit breaker box?
l Have you checked the electric company for a power failure?
If lhe mlcrowave oven will not run:
lIs the oven being used as a timer?
l If the Temperature Probe is being used, is it plugged tightly into its socket?
l Is the door firmly closed and latched? l Did you touch START?
l Dld you follow the directions exactly?
If the mlcrowave cooklng tlmes seem too long:
lIsthe electric supply to your home or wall out- let low or lower than normal? Your electric company can tell you if the line voltage is low. Your electrician or service technician can tell you if the outlet voltage is low.
l Is the Cook Power at the recommended setting?
l Are you allowing for more time when cooking more food at one time?
It the Display shows a time counting down bul the oven Is not cooklng:
lIs the Minute Timer in use?
l Is the oven door closed completely?
l Is the oven in standing time between QUICK DEFROSTand COOK 1or AUTO START?
If the fan seems to be runnlng slower than usual:
lHas the oven been stored in a cold area? The fan will run slower until the oven warms up to normal room temperature.
If there has been a power Interruption, the Display will show 88:88. Reset the clock,
(page 61.
If lhe mlcrowave oven turns off too soon or not soon enough when using the Temperature Probe:
lIs at least K of the probe in the food?
lIs the probe tip in the center of the food? l Is the probe touching bone or fat?
l Have you allowed roasts to stand for a few minutes after cooking?
l Is the probe plugged tightly into its socket?
lIs the Cook Power set correctly?
l Is the probe temperature set correctly?
