For best results, some recipes call for sflrrlng, furnlng over or rearmnglng food, or for addlng lngredlents durlng cooklng. Your mlcrowave oven can be set to pause between COOK 1and COOK 2, between any Cook cycle and PRO6TEMF!between AUTO SETand a followlng cycle, between QUICK DEFROST and a followl,ng cycle (except COOK l), or durlng QUICK DEFROSTThls. gives you time to stir (casseroles), turn over (meat] or rearrange (potatoes] food, orto add Ingredlenfs. PAUSEIs not avallable belween any cycle and KEEPWARM or after QUICK DEFROST.

2.Touch In the deslred cooklng Instructions for COOK 1, (see page l7).

3.Touch PAUSE.

4.Touch In the deslred cooklng lnstructlons tor COOK 2, (see page l7).

5.Touch START.

The Display will show the flme you selected for Cook 1.

When Cook 1Is over, 2 beeps will sound and the oven will shut off. The Display will show “PAUS:’and the COCK 2 lndlcator Llghf will come on.

Open the door, Stir,turn over or rear- range fhe food, or add Ingredlenk. Close the door.

Touch STARTfo conflnue wllh Cook 2. The Display will show fhe flme sef for Cook 2 and begln counting down fhe flme to show how much cooklng flme Is left.

NOTE: The oven will mmaln off until you touch START.

Using PAUSEwlih QUICK DEFROST

Your mlcrowave oven can be setto pause halfway through QUICK DEFROSTto allow you fo sflr,fum over or rearrange the food for more even defrosting.

1.Put frozen food In fhe oven and close the door.

2.Touch QUICK DEFROST.

3.Touch Number Pads for the defrosflng flme you want.

4.Touch PAUSE.

5.Touch START.

When half of fhe QUICK DEFROSTflme Is remaining, you will hear 2 beeps and the oven will shut off.

6.Open the door. You can sfir,turn over or rearrange the food belng defrosted, If needed. Close fhe door.

7.Touch STARTfo conflnue QUICK DEFROST.
