Baking/roasting

1.Position the rack(s) properly before turning on the oven. To change rack position, lift rack at front and pull out. For further informa- tion, see “Positioningracks and pans” on page 9.

2.Set the Oven Selector to BAKE.

3.Push in and turn the Oven Temperature Control to the baking/roasting temperature you want. The oven burner will automatically light in 50-60 seconds.

4.When baking, preheat the oven for 10 min- utes. Put food in the oven.

NOTE: Do not preheat when roasting or cooking items such as casseroles.

Do not place food directly on the oven bottom.

5.During bakingroasting, the oven burner will turn on and off to maintain the temperature setting.

6.When baking/roasting is done, turn both the Oven Selector and the Oven Temperature Control to OFF.
