When selecting the Channel Level

You can adjust the current channel levels as desired. These adjusted levels are just memorized into user’s memory ("Calibrate"), not into preset memory("Save 1(Movie)", "Save 2(Music)").

After adjusting each channel level with test tone, adjust the channel levels either according to the program sources or to suit your tastes.(For details, refer to "Adjusting each channel level with test tone" on page 24.)

1. Press the CURSOR UP/DOWN buttons to select the Channel Level, then press the CURSOR RIGHT button to enter the setting menu.

When selecting the LFE

Press the CURSOR UP/DOWN buttons to select the desired program source’s LFE, then press the CURSOR RIGHT button to enter its setting menu.

Note :

• Depending on the speaker settings(“No”, etc.), some channels cannot be selected.

3. Press the CURSOR UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the level of the selected channel or program source’s LFE as desired.

The LFE level can be adjusted within the range of -10 ~ 0 dB and other channel levels within the range of -15 ~ +15 dB

In general, we recommend the LFE level to be adjusted to 0 dB.(However, the recommended LFE level for some early DTS software is -10 dB.) If the recommended levels seem too high, lower setting as necessary.

When the CURSOR LEFT button is pressed on the setting menu, the previous menu will be returned to.

4. Repeat the above steps 2 and 3 to adjust each channel level.
