Lift-Off Oven Door

The oven door is removable, but it is

heavy. You may need help removing ~ ~

and replacing the door. Do not lift the

door by the handle. This can cause the

the door.

To remove the door, open it a few

inches to the special stop ~sition thatI will hold the door open. Grasp firmly -lon each side and lift the door straight

up and (]ff the hinges.

. Be careful not to place hands between the hinge and . the f)vcn door frame as the hinge cuuld snap back and pinch tingers.

While working in the oven area, cover the hinges with towels or empty paper towel rolls to prevem pinched tingers and chipping the porcelain enamel on the frame.

To replace the door, make sure the hinges arc in the special stop position. Position the slots in the bottom of the door squarely (]ver the hinges. Then lower the d(x)r slowly and evenly over both hinges at the same time. If hinges snap back against the oven frame, pull them back out.

TO CLEAN THE DOOR:

Inside of the door:

Because the area inside the gasket is cleaned during the self clean cycle, you do not need to cletin this by hand. Any soap left on the liner causes additional stains when the oven is heated.

The area outside the gasket can be cleaned with a soap-filled scouring pad.

Do not rub or clean the door gasket-the fiberglass material (If the gasket has an extremely I(JW resistance to abrasion. Outside of the door:

Use soap and water to tho~)ughly clean the top, sides and front of the oven door. DO NOT let water

run duwn through openings in the top of the door.” .- Rinse well. You may alsu use a glass cleaner to

clean the glass on the outside of the door.

Spillage of marinades, fruit juices, tt~rnato sauces

and basting materials containing acids may cause discol{)ration and should be wiped up immediately. When surface is cool. clean and rinse.

Do “not use oven cleaners, cleansing powders or harsh abrasives on the outside of the door.

Removable Storage Drawer

The storage drawer is a good place to store ct)t)kwarc and bakcware. Do not store plastics and flammable material in the drawer.

Do not overload the storage drawer. If the drawer is tuo heavy, it may slip off the track when opened. To open the drawer, grasp the center of the handle and Dull. straight out.

The storage drawer may be removed for cleaning

To remove: Pull the drawer straight out and lift over the guide stops.

To replace: Lift over the guide stops and slide the drawer into place.
