ATAC (ADIC Technical Assistance Center)

The ADIC customer help desk.

DSM (Data Storage Manager)

One of two components that make up the StorNext Management Suite. Corresponds to the product formerly known as CentraVision, but presently known as the StorNext File System.

F

FC (Fibre Channel)

A high speed data transfer architecture.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

The protocol used on the Internet for sending files.

I

InfiniteFileLife

A feature that offers data protection through file testing and automatic rewriting of data to new media when indicated.
