CHECK TIRE PRESSURE

The tires on your tractorwere overin- fiated at the factory for shippingpurposes. Correcttire pressureis importantfor best cutting performance.

Reducetire pressureto PSI shown in "PRODUCTSPECIFICATIONS"section

of this manual.

CHECK DECK LEVELNESS

For bestcutting results,mowerhous- ing should be properlyleveled. See "TO LEVELMOWERHOUSING"in the Service

andAdjustmentssection of this manual.

CHECK FOR PROPER POSmTmON

OF ALL BELTS

See the figuresthat are shownfor replac- ing motionand mowerblade drive belts in the Serviceand Adjustmentssection of this manual. Verifythat the belts are routedcorrectly.

CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM

After you learnhow to operateyour trac- tor, checkto see that the brake is properly adjusted. See "TOADJUSTBRAKE"in

the Serviceand Adjustmentssection of this manual.

V"CHECKMST

Before you operate and enjoy your new tractor, we wish to assure that you receive the best performance and satisfaction from this Quality Product.

Please review the following checklist: v" All assembly instructions have been

completed.

v" No remaining loose parts in carton. v" Battery is properly prepared and

charged. (Minimum 1 hour at 6 amps). v" Seat is adjusted comfortably and tight-

ened securely.

v" All tires are properly inflated. (For ship- ping purposes, the tires were overin- fiated at the factory).

v" Be sure mower deck is properly leveled

side-to-sideifront-to-rear for best cutting results. (Tires must be properly inflated for leveling).

v" Check mower and drive belts. Be sure they are routed properly around pulleys and inside all belt keepers.

v" Check wiring. See that all connections are still secure and wires are properly clamped.

While learning how to use your tractor, pay

extra attention to the following important items:

v" Engine oil is at proper level.

v" Fuel tank is filled with fresh, clean, regu- lar unleaded gasoline.

v" Become familiar with all controls - their

location and function. Operate them before you start the engine.

v" Be sure brake system is in safe oper- ating condition.
