TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB

Raise hood.

Pull bulb holder out of the hole In the backside of the grill

Replace bulb tn holder and push bulb holder securely back into the hole in the backside of the grill

Close hqod

INTERLOCKS AND RELAYS

Loose or damaged w+rtngmay cause your tractorto run poorly, stop running, or prevent it from starling+

Check wiring+ See electrical wir+ng diagram in the RepairParts section of this manual

TO REPLACE FUSE

Replace with 30 amp automotlve_type plug+Infuse The fuseholder is located behind the dash

TO REMOVE HOOD AND GRILL ASSEMBLY (See Fig, 33)

Raise hood

Unsnap headlight wire connector

. Stand +nfront of tractor Grasp hood at s+des,tilt toward engine and liftoff of tractor

To replace,reverse above procedure

The throttle control has been preset at the tactory and adjustment should notbe necessary Check adiustmentas described below before loosening cable If adjuslment is necessary, proceed as follows:

=With engine net running, move throttle control lever to fast pos+lion

Check that speed controllever ts against step screw _' it is not, boosen casing clamp screw and pull throttte

cable until lever is against screw Ttghten clamp screw securely

TO ADJUST CARBURETOR (See Fig. 36)

The carburetor has been present at the factory and adjust+ ment should not be necessary However, minor adjustmenl may be required to compensate for differences In fuel, temperature, all{rude or load tf the carburetor does need adjustment, proceed as follows:

In general, turning the adjusting needles In (clockwise) decreases the supp+y of fuel to the engine giving a leaner fuel/air mI×h_re Turning lhe adjusling needles out (coun- terclockwise) increases the supp{y of luel to the engine giving a richer fueVair mixture

IMPORTANT: DAMAGE TO THE NEEDLES ANO THE SEATS IN CARBURETOR MAY RESULT tF SCREW IS TURNED tN TOO TIGHT

PRELIMINARY SETTING

Be sure you have a c{ean air filter, and lhe throttle control cable ts adjusted properly (see above)

With engine oft turn id+elust ad ustlng needle [n (clock- w ss) cos ng t f nger t ght and then turn out (counter- clockwise) 1-1/4 turns

Turn main fuel adjusting needle in (clockwise) ctosing finger tight end then turrl out (counterclockwise) 1 turn
