ASNEEDED

1. CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT

DO NOT MAKE UNNECESSARYADJUSTMENTS FAC-

TORY SETTINGS ARE SATISFACTORY FOR MOST APPLICATIONS AND CONDITIONS. tF ADJUSTMENTS ARE NEEDED, PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:

a, Make sure Air Cleaner is clean (see page 15),

C.Check that hole in Throttle Lever and hole in Plate line

up (Fig. 31 - Inset), If holes are not aligned, loosen Clamp Screw and move Throttle Cable until holes are aligned, Tighten Clamp Screw,

d. Turn High Speed Adjusting Needle clockwise (_), clos- ing finger tight ONLY, and then turn counterclockwise (t _) t-1/2 turns (Fig. 31)_

e, Turn Idle Adjusting Needle clockwise (('_) closing finger tight ONLY, and then turn counterclockwise (_) I turn.

LEAKS AND THAT FUEL LINE IS IN

PROPER POSITION IN HOSE CLAMPS
