15. Prepare the engine mounting plate by remov- ing any dirt, paint chips, or foreign material, and place the engine onto the pad shown in Figure 12.

18. Wrap the pressure-fitting pipe threads with Teflon tape as shown in Figure 14.

16. Secure the engine with the four M8-1.25 x 45 hex bolts, flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts as shown in Figure 13.

17. Tighten the fasteners in an alternating pat- tern evenly, so you do not risk cracking the mounting flange shown in Figure 13.

19. Wipe oil onto one of the 11 x 2.4mm O-rings and seat it into the O-ring seat in the end of the pressure fitting (Figure 14).

20. Remove the plastic cap from the pump pres- sure port and, add a couple of tablespoons of hydraulic oil into the pressure port (Figure 15).

21. Thread the Teflon tape end of the pressure fitting into this pump port, and tighten the fit- ting only until it is snug. DO NOT overtighten or you can crack the pump housing.

22. Loosen the hose clamp, install the pump suc- tion hose onto the pump suction port (Figure 15), and tighten the hose clamp.
