CARE AND MAINTENANCE
STEERING CONTROL ADJUSTMENTS (continued):
Adjusting for Straight Forward Tracking:
In large open area, actuate the control handles into the full forward position. If mower veers in either direction (left or right) some adjustment is necessary.
1.If mower veers to right, right hydrostat needs to be sped up. If mower veers to left, left hydrostat needs to be sped up.
2.Stop machine and shut off engine.
3.Slightly loosen bolt at lower end of upper linkage assembly on side that is slower. Using a 1/8” Allen wrench turn the setscrew 1/4 turn in. It may take several test drives to get mower to track straight forward.
4.Once the tracking is to the operators liking, completely
tighten the bolt on the control linkage assembly that was loosened earlier.
5, Recheck to make sure neutral adjust has not been affected.
