CARE AND MAINTENANCE

HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

AND FILTER SERVICE

Dirt or water in fluid can ruin the hydrostatic transmissions.

SERVICE INTERVALS

1.Initial filter service - 100 hours

2.Every 300 hours or once a year thereafter.

MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE

Check the fluid level in hydrostatic transmission fluid reservoir daily. Clean the fluid reservoir cap and the

area around it prior to removal. Check the fluid level. Fluid should be approximately ¾" to 1" (19 - 25

mm)below top of fluid tank baffle. Replenish with full synthetic 15W-50 as needed. DO NOT OVERFILL. When checking the fluid level, be very careful to keep the reservoir clean. Check connections, hoses, and tubes for damage or leaks. Replace or repair if doubtful.

Changing Oil and Filters

Oil and filter changes should be carried out by an authorized service workshop due to the risk of impurities enter the system.
