Door Opening:

a)Locate the hopper door cables. Loosen the jam nut next to the yoke at the end of the hopper door cable/shaft assembly on each side and rotate the shaft until the rear door has a clearance of 1/8”-3/8”. See Figure 22.

b)Verify the cables are pulled equally tight on each side.

c)Tighten the jam nuts against the yokes on each side.

5.2.18PTO Brake Spring Adjustment:

PTO brake spring adjustment is only necessary if the blower has been removed or replaced or if the PTO drive idler arm has been disassembled.

a)Stop engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove key.

b)Locate the brake spring and thread the two jam nuts out to the end of the brake spring rod. See Figure 23.

c)Tighten jam nuts together at end of brake spring rod.

6. WASTE DISPOSAL

6.1 MOTOR OIL DISPOSAL

Engine oil and hydraulic oil are both pollutants to the environment. Dispose of used oil at a certified recycling center or according to your state and local regulations.
