Blades

For best results mower blades must be kept sharp. Replace bent or damaged blades. Sharpening can be carried out with a fi le or grinding disc.

NOTE! It is very important that both blades are sharpened equally to avoid imbalance.

BLADE REMOVAL:

•Raise mower to highest position to allow access to blades.

•Remove hex bolt, lock washer and fl at washer securing blade.

•Install new or resharpened blade with trailing edge up towards deck as shown.

IMPORTANT:To ensure proper assembly, center hole in blade must align with star on mandrel assembly.

•Reassemble hex bolt, lock washer and fl at washer in exact order as shown.

•Tighten bolt securely (27-35 Ft. Lbs. torque).

IMPORTANT: Blade bolt is grade 8 heat treated.

Messerbalken

Für beste Mähergebnisse müssen die Messerbalken immer opti mal geschliffen sein. Wechseln Sie verbogene oder bes- chädigte Messerbalken sofort aus. Sie werden mit einer Feile oder einer Schleifscheibe geschärft.

HINWEIS: Um eine Unwucht zu vermeiden, müssen beide Seiten der Messerbalken gleichmäßig geschärft und auf Unwucht geprüft werden.

WECHSELN DER MESSERBALKEN:

•Fahren Sie das Mähdeck in die höchste Position, um Zugriff zu den Messerbalken zu bekommen.

•Lösen Sie die Sechskantschraube, die Sicherungss- cheibe und die Unterlegscheibe, die den Messerbalken fi xieren.

•Montieren Sie den neuen bzw. den neu geschärften Messerbalken, wobei die hintere (Hilfschneid-) Kante wie abgebildet nach oben zur Plattform zeigen muß.

WICHTIG: Um eine richtige Montage zu gewährleisten, muß die Zentrierbohrung des Messerbalkens mit der Messerauf- nahme übereinstimmen.

•Montieren Sie nun in der beschriebenen Reihenfolge die Sechskantschraube, die Sicherungsscheibe sowie die Unterlegscheibe.

•Ziehen Sie die Schrauben gut fest (Drehmoment: 27-37 Nm.)

WICHTIG: Die Sechskantschraube des Messerbalkens ist wärmebehandelt.

Lames:

Pour avoir une bonne qualité de coupe, il est indispensable d'avoir des lames bien affûtées.Changer les lames défectueuse ou tordues. L'affûtage peut se faire avec une lime ou avec une meule.

REMARQUE: Il est très important d'affûter en même temps et de façon identique les deux extrémités de la lame pour éviter tout déséquilibrage.

POUR RETIRER LES LAMES

•Relever au maximum la machine pour avoir accès aux lames de coupe.

•Desserrer la vis à tête hexagonale qui fi xe la lame sur le moyeu, retirer la vis ainsi que la rondelle frein, la rondelle plate et la lame.

•Mettre en place une lame neuve, ou la lame d'origine réaffutée, avec le tranchant tourné vers le haut (fond du carter de coupe), comme indiqué sur la fi gure.

ATTENTION : Le montage de la lame est correct lorsque son alésage central en forme d' étoile est parfaitement emboîtée sur l'étoile se trouvant à l'extrémité du moyeu.

•Remettre en place la rondelle plate, la rondelle grower et la vis dans l'ordre indiqué.

•Resserrer la vis avec un couple de serrage de 3,7 à 4,9 mKg.

ATTENTION: La vis de fixation de la lame est traitée thermique- ment en classe 8, bien respecter le couple de serrage.
