Using a Memory Card

The focusing point can be selected only when Focus-Priority is set to [ON] in
CARD CAMERA mode. The focusing point returns to the center if you turn off
the camcorder, change from CARD CAMERA mode or move the program
selector to [.
The focusing point cannot be selected in Stitch Assist mode.
The focusing point cannot be selected when using the digital zoom. When you
zoom into the digital zoom range, the focusing frame flashes for 4 seconds
and disappears. When you return to the optical zoom range, the focusing
frame reappears.
The focusing point cannot be selected when focusing manually.
The focusing point cannot be selected when recording movies on a memory
card.
Turning Off the Focus-Priority Mode
Open the menu and select [CAMERA SET UP]. Select [FOCUS PRI.], set it to
[OFF] and close the menu.
Continuous Shooting
You can capture a quick series of still images with the continuous shooting function.
1. Set the camcorder to CARD CAMERA mode.
2. Open the menu and select [CAMERA SET UP]. Select [DRIVE MODE], set
it to [CONT. ] and close the menu.
3. Press and hold the PHOTO button to record the still images.
A series of still images will be recorded.
4. Release the PHOTO button to end recording.
