Your camera uses a rechargeable Nikon EN-EL2 lithium-ion battery (in- cluded).
Inserting the Battery

The battery is partially ejected.
Remove the battery.
Charging the Battery
Connect the EH-61 AC adapter to the COOL-STATION.
Place the camera on the COOL-STATION.

Close the battery-chamber/memory

Check the battery level in the monitor.

Display DATE menu.
Edit Year.
Select Month. Repeat steps 8-9 to edit remaining items.

Choose order in which Year, Month, and Day will be displayed.

1. Before Connecting the Camera
To select the USB option:

Connect the EH-61 AC adapter to the COOL-STATION.
Connect the COOL-STATION to your computer using the UC-E7 USB cable.
Turn the camera off and place it on the COOL-STATION.
Press the button on the COOL-STATION to transfer pictures.
