Basic Setup

Before using your camera for the first time, choose a language for camera menus and messages and set the camera clock to the correct time and date.

•If the time and date have not been set or clock battery is exhausted, a flashing

(“Date not set”) icon ( 14) will be displayed in the top right corner of the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode. Any pictures taken before the time and date have been set will have a time stamp of “0000.00.00 00:00.”
